Imagine That November Progressive Challenge

Today, I am focusing on the Imagine That Progressive Digi challenge for November.  I have been extremely busy and I haven't had a chance to post until now.  This month we are using an image from the set called Jars of Cheer.  I chose the one with the peppermints because I am working on my Christmas cards and I thought this was a perfect one to use.  I printed the image and used different brands of alcohol markers to color and then cut it out.  I mounted it on a piece of minty green card stock that I embossed and mounted that on some designer card stock.  After I photographed this card, I decided to do a little more (to make it pop).  I used Ranger Glossy Accents to add dimension to the candy in the jar and on the holly berries.  Each piece of candy and berry had to be glossed individually so they looked like separate pieces of candy and berries.  Trust me, they do!  Unfortunately, I had already submitted it to Imagine That so I wasn't able to send in a new photo.

Check out the above site and see what the other design team members have done.  They are great!
If you did not play last month, for your free digi, check out the store.  Once you have purchased your first challenge image, you will be able to get another free one, each month, as long a you play along!

Till next time...

Imagine That Digi Stamps Progressive Challenge

Hi all.  I am back to work with the Imagine That Digi Stamp Progressive Challenge.  The name of the  set is called Poolside Penguins.  It is so adorable.  I'm glad that I didn't miss this one, while I was on hiatus.  I colored the image with Copic markers and paper pieced the swim trunks with washi tape.  That was a first for me!  I did some embossing for the water and cloud background.  The water background was actually cut up from a folder that had fish in it.  I didn't like the look, so...I cut them out and pieced it back together, without the fish...

Now it's your turn to use this free image, if you played in May.  If you didn't, you can purchase the entire set for $3.00 in the store.  Then, if you use anyone of the images in this month's challenge, you will be eligible to receive the challenge digi for next month, for free!

Don't forget to leave me a comment.  I need some lov'in right now!  I have had a difficult couple of months!  Also, be sure to check out what some of the other design team members are doing.

Till next time...

Progressive Challenge

Hi all!  It's time for a new monthly progressive challenge at Imagine That Digis Progressive Challenge.  Remember that if you played along last month, you get the image for FREE!  My card for the design team was printed and colored with Copic markers.  I had to fussy cut around the image so I could pop dot it on to my die cut background.  I made 2 different sized layers, one in white and a smaller one in red.  I embossed with my Cuttlebug folder, Swiss Dots.  I then brayered black over the top to make it look like ladybug dots.  I made a matching double bow for the top and around the bigger layer of card stock. I love how I just happened to have this great ribbon in my stash!

Don't forget to go to Imagine That Digis by Kris and pick up this adorable image.  If you didn't get to play last month, you can get the file on sale for only $2.00.  Then, next month you can get the freebie!

Till next time...

Welcome Spring!

Hi all!  It is finally spring as of this past week.  Here at Imagine That Digi Stamps, the design team members are doing spring inspired cards.  Mine is called Welcome Spring.  I have included a lot of elements on this card.  I've used the digi designer paper from the Love Lifts You set and the image from the Jacqui Welcomes Spring set.  I colored with Copic markers and used Flower Soft in the flower box.   I dry embossed the yellow card and added a silk flower that I pieced and glued together.  I also glittered some sticky paper and cut the vine with a die.  I stamped Hello and cut it out with a leaf die.  Whew, that was a lot of stuff for someone who likes to keep things simple!  (There are actually more things that I did not even mention!)  Anyway, I hope you enjoy finding all of the elements that I used.

There are still a few more days left to use the coupon code to save 40% .  Click below...

I have a winner from the birthday blog hop and 2 new cards.

Hi all.  I have randomly picked a winner from the birthday blog hop.  Congratulations to D- for writing a nice comment about my deer card.  D-, you have won a set of digi stamps
Please contact Kris @ imaginethat.digisbykris@yahoo.com to claim your prize.  Thank you all for stopping by my blog and leaving your lovely comments.  It really means a lot to me.  I see that I also had a couple of people join my site...Wonderful!

Now, let me show you the cards that I made last week...The first one was made for a special order.
I barely had time to scan the outside and never got a chance to scan the inside.  The saying on the inside says:  "You don't want to press your luck!"  I love the stamp with these sayings.  The leprechaun and the four leaf clover were heat embossed in black and colored with  Copic markers.

The next card is one that I did for my advance stamping club.  We were to make a card in honor of one of our members that had passed away, suddenly.  Her daughter had come to our club to sell her stamps and "stuff".  We were to use one of her stamps  to create a card...
I LOVE cats so I thought this would be a great one to use.  (I purchased quite a lot!)

I painted the boxes with iridescent pigment paints and used Score Tape and glitter around the edges.

Thank you all for checking out my blog.  I hope you will continue to leave comments and perhaps join to become a member of my site so you will always get to see my projects.  Thank you.

Till next time...

Skatie Katie

Hi all.  Today, I am showcasing my new card for Imagine That Imagine That Digis by Kris.  She is called Skatie Katie and she comes with either outlines or an already colored image.  There are also several sentiments included in the set.  You can see the file below.  I love to color red-heads and I thought green was a great color for her to wear.

More projects to come soon...

One More Christmas Card!

Hi all.  I know we are almost halfway into January, but I have one more Christmas card to post.  I am sure this will be my last for quite a while so please indulge me!  I made this card for the Imagine That design team.  I thought this adorable snow angel in the snow globe was just too cute not to use for this project.  After coloring and cutting out the image with Copic and Sharpie markers, I used a brush-on glue and added some white glitter to look like it had snow inside.  I use pop dots to give it dimension.  The sentiment is also from this set.  It is called Snow Globe Angel and you can purchase it from the link.

Be sure to check out the Imagine That challenge blog and see how you can get free digi stamps.

Please don't forget to leave me a comment.  Just click on the word comment at the bottom of this post.  I really would love to hear from you.  That is why I do this!

Till next time...
