This week's card for Imagine That Digi Stamps is from the Farm Friends collection. My card has the image of Farmer Lily, and I added a couple of chickens. I pasted the Farmer Lily, the chickens and the sentiment into my publishing software, sized them and layered them together so that they made one image. I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers. I used a white gel pen to accent the overalls. The background was sponged. I tore the edges of the image and distressed them and glued them on to the checkered background (I thought it had that farmy look). I stamped hello and added a piece of die cut vine in the corner. The whole thing was glued on to a red card base. I found a glaze pen in one of my storage drawers and decided to use it on her eyes, the eggs and the chicken's beaks and feet. It's kind of hard to see the detail, unless you look at it in person. (Too late, I already sent it to my husband, who is out of town!) The glaze gives it a more subtle look than if I had used Glossy Accents.
Just Chicken in on you!
