Some New Cards...

Hi all.  Here are some new cards that I have been working on lately...

This card was done with Ken Oliver's Color Bursts.

This was hand painted with watercolors.

This card was done with colored pencils.

This card was originally a Zentangle Inspired Art piece that I did.  I reduced it to
make into a card.  I used colored pencils.  The color is much brighter
than it shows here.

This was hand colored and I used fun foam for the "praying" die cut.

Hand colored with colored pencils.  The inside says
"You are the cat's pajamas".

I was gifted several tangled stamps.  This was done with colored pencils.  This is just one of many...

Another tangled stamp with colored pencils.

This was a very old wooden stamp that I got from my advanced stamping
club.  They were getting rid of a lot of stamps from our library that were not
being used.  The inside says "Just another day in paradise".  It was done with colored pencils.
This card has been entered into dragonflyjourneys.blogspot.com's challenge.

Another tangled stamp done with colored pencils.

And yet another tangled stamp.  This is the only one that
I used alcohol markers for.

I used a Stampin' up stamp.  I used colored pencils and put it on the
inside of the card.  I die cut the frame and Happy Birthday and punched
the butterfly.

This is a stamp that was given to me by another friend from my
stamping club.  I used colored pencils.

Hope you enjoy my recent work!  I love comments!!

Till next time...

Wrapped in Prayer

This week's Imagine That Inspiration Blog, design team inspiration is from a cute digi stamp set called Give a Hoot.  Kris, originally made it for Breast Cancer Awareness, but she added some extra digis in order to use it for other things.  For my card, I chose not to do a breast cancer awareness card.  Since I have Multiple Myeloma, I decided to use the burgundy colors for my cancer.  I printed the digi image twice.  One time on white card stock and the second time on a burgundy dotted pattern paper, cut it out and paper pieced  it to make the scarf.  I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers.  I added some Glossy Accents to the eyes and beak to give it more dimension.  I die cut the image and sponged it in a light blue.  I glued the image onto another piece of coordinating paper and glued it on to the green card base.  I added 3 sticky flowers that I colored with my markers.

Another fun project from Imagine That Digis by Kris.

Until next time...
