I made this card a while back, but I just entered it into a challenge at Stamp TV. The challenge was to use buttons.

A couple of New Cards for Challenges
Here are a couple of cards that I recently made. They are both being entered into challenges.
This is a card that I did for a challenge called Progressive Freebie Challenge on a new web site: www.imaginethatdigistamp.blogspot.com. They give you a free digi stamp and if you enter it into their challenge, you will get the next free digi. I colored the image with Sharpie markers. I used a glitter pen on the bow. I punched out some daisy shapes and attached them over the printed daisies with brads that I colored with my Sharpies to give it a 3 dimensional look. I am also entering it in Raisin Boat Blog Challenge. It is a great site…check it out:

This is a card that I made for www.splitcoaststampers.com. The challenge was to make a card with black & white writing and then to use 3 different red elements. The stamp is a digi that I altered by hand, to make it look like a cardinal. (Originally, it had a round head.) That was the first red element. The second one was the double embossed background and the third one was the bow. I actually have a 4th red element, with the actual card.
I hope you enjoy my most recent work as much as I enjoyed making them!
Thanks for looking!

Out of Touch
Hi. I have been out of touch for a few months. Very busy with Christmas card orders, training for and completing a half marathon, cruising, being sick, etc. Then, I had a problem getting onto my blog to ad a new post. I finally got it figured out, so here I am again with some of my favorite Christmas and Chanukah card from 2012. I hope you enjoy them.
This door was a digi stamp that I colored with Copic markers. I made the wreath with a circle punch and cut out the center. The berries are mad with red stickles.
I just realized that most of the posted cards were done with digi stamps. I made a bunch from rubber, but these are the ones that I like the most.
This one has gotten the most response. It is actually an image from another card that I got last year that was on acetate. I Decided to repurpose it. I got a lot of buzz on this one!
I thought this one was really cute and just had to use it!
This is a beautiful digi and it was a lot of fun coloring it.
I used colored pencils on this card. I did the words on the computer. I just felt that it was singing to me and I used a music embossing background. I like the way the lace on the card brings out the lace on her skirt.
I just realized that this was an actual stamp. That is how I was able to heat emboss the Menorah in gold.
I really love this dove Menorah. Isn't it cute? The lace on the background is actually stamped and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Looks like real lace doesn't it?
Until next time…I hope everyone has a happy and healthy new year!

Binker Birthday
Front Inside
The first thing I did was color the image with Copic markers. I added Glossy Accents to each individual balloon and his shoes, etc. for added dimension. I sponged the background. The front of the card was embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. I used Nesties to cut the hole and make a tiny frame around it. I used my Cricut to cut out happy birthday and added 4 dots of Viva Decor yellow pearl to the corners. Then I glued the image inside so the balloons would show through the round frame. The image is from Guylou's Inimitability. www.guylousinimitability.com

CWLC 7 Delicious Doodles
I colored the image with colored pencils and added red Stickles for the holly berries. I also added 3 red rhinestones on the right top corner to balance out the image since the image just stopped on the left side and I had to cut it on the edge. I used 2 different die cuts and added the red and black ribbon. I mounted it on red card stock that was embossed with a Stampin'Up poinsettia folder. I punched the holly corner and added a piece of green paper underneath the match the green die cut. I also added more red Stickles to make the holly berries. I rounded the corners and mounted it on white card stock.
CWLC 6 Card Sketch

The inspiration for this card was a card sketch from CWLC.
I made this card using a new technique that I learned on Thursday in my stamping club. I stamped the image with Stazon ink, onto light green tissue paper. After the ink dried, I crumbled it up. After I straightened the tissue, I brushed a plain piece of CS with Glossy Accents and added another layer of Glossy Accents to the top, lightly pressing down on the tissue paper. I cut out the image with a Nestie and cut another piece, the same size and cut it in half to make a shadow effect. I pop dotted it onto a background that I had made a while back, with plastic wrap and ink. I glued the flowers onto the buttons and glued them on 3 corners. I stamped the sentiment on the other corner. I think this is one of the fastest cards I ever made!
